I walked by one of his new - Boston Properties - buildings in downtown Washington this AM. He also owns the NY Post. He is very active in promoting Israel - an unusual stance for somebody who is exceedingly conservative economically. John McLaughlin has him on the "Screaming Heads" to fill in for Pat Buchanan when unavailable to combat Eleanor Clift. Zuckerman is by no means the exclusive mouthpiece of the Jewish community. But if you have had him hounding you for the last 18 months, you have reelection troubles - big time. Zuckerman made his personal assessment of Obama after about six months and has been chewing on him ever since. His past complaints have been against managerial skill, especially printing money. Now comes handling of foreign policy. To put icing on the cake, Obama has not been showing the usual Presidential deference to Israel. Quite the opposite actually. Right or wrong, political suicide in the US.
