We are spending more on the war in Afghanistan each month than the entire annual GDP of the country -- let's just bring the troops home and leave the CIA to monitor the terrorism threat...and we can even pay the Afghan people not to fight and it would be much, much cheaper than what we're currently doing over there -- it's a huge quagmire...the only folks coming out ahead in Afghanistan and Iraq are the defense contractors (like Halliburton, Blackwater, and Raytheon, etc).
