As a tax payer I resent the notion that somehow by not offering more credits to home buyers I'm weakening the economy. Auto sales are declining, am I obligated to fund another cash for clunkers too?

If you don't want to accept the weakness of the US economy now when every metric points toward it when will you? Maybe you could point to some metric that shows strengthening?
