most of these rightwing types are just plain freaking crazy Rightwingers are statists who buy into every agenda the state (the government of the United States) has, be it an unprovoked invasion of Iraq or continuing the global military empire. Just look at how the Pied Piper Bush led the rightwingers into totally irrational and crazy situations that they supported due to their support for the state. Nationalism can be a powerful force. The problem with rightwing types is that many of them don't think for themselves and let their nationalistic emotions rule their thoughts and actions.

I agree. Although most of the Tea party folks just strike me as uneducated which can spawn crazy ideas like segegation. Just look at the politics of South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi and LA. But I am sure Scalia, Rhenquist (deceased), Roberts, Altio and Thomas definately have sociopathic personalites.
