There are two types of threat that the US faces: one is the physical threat posed by groups like Al Qaeda and Taliban. The second is economic posed by countries like India and China.

Our politicians concentrate on only one and want to sweep aside the other. That is the case in this clip. Grayson just talks about how we should go about meeting the economic threat. I agree with his suggestion. What he fails to do is suggest how we are going to meet the physical threat to peace. Yes indeed, we all desire peace. But what happened during 9/11 and all the mini-episodes such as the Christmas and Time Square bombing attempts does not contribute to the peace that we desire. How do we achieve that peace. Obama is working towards achieving a balance between the two. Bush just focused on the military at the cost of the economic threat since he led this nation to bankruptcy. And if Grayson becomes President, he will address only the economic threat if he follows his approach.
