A recent study concluded that a transformation from dark to light or vice versa could happen far more quickly than ever believed possible, in as little as 100 generations.

When in the VA Hospital one day (helping my dad out) I overheard these two vets, one black and one white, who agreed that the fundamental driver of race issues in the US is the gov't, always classifying and sorting, and preferring, and so on. Ever since then I've been more aware of how the ONLY place I'm asked about race over and over is on gov't forms. Too many pork jobs depend on slicing and dicing us by race, I think.
