The win is a better balance of trade and more jobs and economic activity in our country.

I know, sometimes opponents of domestic drilling suggest we should save our resources ... if thats so, maybe we should just ban all production here. I question whether there would ever be a time that proponents of saving our reserves would ever say, okay now its time for us to use our own fuel.

I think if we were acting long-term, we'd leave ALL our oil in the ground, and import all we use. It's the ACTUAL conservative position.
