my brother was a soldier in the national guard. there was a post office strike and they were called in to report. he arrived and learned what it was to hurry up and wait. they wasted a lot of time doing nothing. he went to the bathroom for a few minutes. when he came back from the bathroom, "everyone" had boarded a bus and gone to do their job. a handful of guys were in the same position as my brother. so, they hid them in a room - the brass didn't care to have them work - they didn't want to say they left a bunch of guys behind. they played poker for a week or two. my brother was amazed at how stupid the guys were and were incredibly terrible poker players they were - it was like taking candy from a baby. then, awhile later, he got a notice that a year or two was taken off his national guard duty requirement because he had put in an extra week or two. now, i know why you think you are a poker pro.
