Yes, that too is a signature of a crisis. Before SHTF, that is. After that the leaders are usually different. We are starting to see some change, but it's painful and never instantaneous. The pain causes change. Sometimes it doesn't. Then we are really fucked. I don't see things diminishing, they are improving a bit from W-s time, morality wise, but not a whole lot, yet.

I'm hoping to get an earmark for $10 million to do a study on how gov't is getting so corrupt. If I don't come up with an answer in 6 months, I'll have to lobby for a bigger earmark. Basically, I'm willing to take whatever it will do.
