Why is that childish? Eagles and other raptors are killed all the time by windmills and the same people who emote over a pelican don't care. Why?

First of all, eagles don't get killed by windmills that frequently if for no other reason then there are not that many of them flying around. When an eagle appears in Seattle, a crowd forms to watch it. That's how rare and spectacular they are.

Secondly, people out here do everything they can to protect the wildlife esp if the species is endangered. So I find your comments just a lot of jawboning.......noise to fill up space.
