<<... I wonder when that wisdom will make it's way to our leaders?..>> Only when we see dramatic cuts in the bloated military budgets and end the pointless wars. The reckless and ongoing wars in Afghanistan and Iraq are like big sea anchors out behind our economy -- such an unproductive way to spend well over $100 Billion tax dollars/year....at least if we were spending the money on a new national Grid and a new clean energy economy we'd be creating jobs and valuable infrastructure (and we'd be reducing our dependence on fossil fuel too).
