Perhaps they'll be shown to have been incompetent. Perhaps they won't. Just enumerating their "safety violations" may be fine for Shep Smith, but it is really immaterial to this incident unless some such violation caused the accident. And this cannot be determined as yet.

Hence the six month moratorium the redneck riviera governors oppose...seems they found themselves a judge who makes policy from the bench to agree with them...hey wait, conservatives don't like activist judges...

They are very material. It shows a corporate culture of cutting corners. And several of the documented corners made it impossible to know if things were safe. Acting irresponsibly is not going to stand them in good stead when they do make it to court.
