But real estate is considered a store of wealth so people will buy multiple properties and leave them empty (not even rent).

That's INSANE. Unless they're building houses so strongly constructed that will last for 100 years, those properties are going to turn into money pits.

Buying land, I understand.. they don't make any more of that.. But buying houses as storehouses of value.. that's BS and it's going to eventually cost the average Chinese homeowner DEARLY.
