What will be interesting is to see how long they will still be pushing this, despite Kyl's retraction.


I would be very surprised if they stopped pushing it even with Kyl's retraction. This level of lying has become SOP for the Rs. I believe its born of desperation.....Obama makes so few gaffes for them to attack.

In the meantime, allies of McCrystal are pushing back on the Rolling Stone article, calling foul on the reporter.......that it was 'understood' certain times were off the record and he violated McCrstal's trust. Makes you wonder how many embedded reporters held back the truth in their reports during the Iraqi and Afghan wars.
