IF THIS HAPPENS, house values, stocks (collateral for mortgages and loans) and the prices of everything we buy will likely rise, together with interest rates. And if a Value Added tax is imposed, more cash will flow into the government treasury accounts.

Is it the 1970's again, or, are we at the cusp of an Argentina like hyper-inflationary period? Whatever our future, I get the feeling this does not end well in terms of purchasing power :-(
