Re: "these foreign companies know how to plug the leak, they've done it before elsewhere" Can you name even one who knows any more about it then, say... B.P. or Exxon or Haliburton? Sometimes things are just hard --- with a faulty blowout protector and the bottom of the ocean floor, (and only three completely concrete plugs separating various strata in the reserve, instead of the thirteen that were recommended), then one's options in the event of a disasterous over-pressure situation and a well blowout become extremely limited. All because B.P. wanted to 'save' some money....

GZ..and then there's this..... Obama appointed two devout Muslims to home land security posts. Obama and Janet Napolitano appointed Arif Alikhan, a devout Muslim, as Assistant Secretary for Policy Development. DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano swore-in Kareem Shora, a devout Muslim, who was born in Damascus, Syria, as ADC National Executive Director as a member of the Homeland Security Advisory Council (HSAC). NOTE: Has anyone ever heard a new government official being identified as a devout Catholic, a devout Jew or a devout Protestant....? Devout Muslims being appointed to critical Homeland Security positions? Was it not "Devout Muslim men" that flew planes into U.S. buildings 8 years ago? Was it not a Devout Muslim who killed 13 at Fort Hood ? What next? I fear for America. See snopes.com
