Re: "... it's common knowledge" "... Simply stated, of course anyone could stop it"

So you are saying, what exactly?

That B.P. is deliberately allowing this massive well blow-out to continue because... what? They are perverse and they simply LIKE paying tens or even hundreds of BILLIONS in damages?

Because they have a secret corporate death wish and are desirous of bankruptcy?

Because they are in the thrall of the Bilderbergs/Masons/Illuminatti or maybe the Black Helicopter UN divisions and the 'secret plan' is to screw with America???????????

None of that has the ring of commonsense to it.

Consequently, I highly doubt that "anyone could stop it" or that it is "common knowledge" how to stop it.

(Although I HAVE heard on FOX of an idea to slip a kiloton-sized tactical nuke down a seven inch relief well hole, should the relief well fail with "mud" to shut off the flow, to over-pressure and melt the rock into a sealing cap for the reserve a thousand feet or so below the sea floor. Got no expertise to judge it but it sounds like THAT might do the job for good. Maybe better then waiting for the reserve's pressure to fall in a couple of years or so anyway!)

(PS... what the heck would the Jones Act --- which applies to shipping in US coastal waters --- have to do with Shell anyway? Are you saying that there are NO American oil companies that would know what to do? Or that BP is an American oil company? Ain't BP and Shell both foreign inc.-ed?)
