How many? How often does she feed them?

Are the parents still feeding them? Reason I ask............and it really is out of frustration. (maybe this belongs on the Ornithology thread?) We got home today and hubby went out to take a gander at the three junco chicks in a nest in our shed. He disturbed the nest and the chicks all jumped out. They are not old enough to fly yet and I'm worried. I did look on line and from what I read, the parents will still feed them, but it is imperative they find a safe place until they can fly. He managed to get one back into the nest, but he can't find the other two. I'm most worried about rats or cats finding them. I was so angry I told him his actions doomed them to death. I hope he learned a lesson?
