Michael - Re: PC Server Growth in Japan

This is an example of the growth of high margin Intel sales that is being ignored by the media like CNBC and most analysts. If PC server growth is being forecast at a compound rate of 62% for the next three years in Japan, $1.93B 1997 to $8.3B in fiscal 2001, not insignificant numbers in JUST THIS regional product segment, what do you think CNBC will have to say about it today? Probably nothing - as usual.

Perhaps Intel can give those analysts a hint.

Barry

Wow! That's a lot of K6's!

Re: " ...next time I talk to my friends at AMAT, I'll ask them who their customers are in the Northwest."

Save yourself the trouble - Intel, Intel, Intel, IDT, LSI, TSMC and Fujitsu - and probably a few more.
