>>Does it mean APM will get hurt more than RDRT?<<
Most of what APM is making is thin film. They are still at the very early stages of the transition to MR. They were planning to keep their thin film production for one more year.

So you would think that APM stock would be getting hammered today, considering what is happening to WDC stock (now 23-24, down from yesterday's close of 30 or so.)

But APM is trading at 21 1/2, down 2 from yesterday's close.

Maybe the market is waiting until next week (Monday, Tuesday, whenever) to readjust the stock price of APM.

Or maybe the market figures that if APM reports losses, instead of profits, it won't make any difference in what APM is worth.

I should learn to be more precise. What the market might be thinking is that the difference in APM's value is minor based on the change from current profits to upcoming losses.

An investor should realize, however, that the market reserves the right to change its mind, its prices, and anything else that gets in its way.
