I only rotate about 5 to 20% of my positions....and I don't like small profits. Got you that wrong. ha

Most of the positions don't move much. I don't make big moves like you do.

A buy and hold strategy for the LT is risky from a ST or IT time frame.<G> Unless you have balz of steel like TSL and hold the little juniors for the long term, one might not get much sleep just buying and holding good companies - because all stocks are "shit" at some point. Everyone has his or her own style. Hedging LT positions is also slicing and dicing. There are so many ways. One has to know when to slice and dice or not. One shouldn't just slice and dice all the time or one shouldn't just buy and hold without rotating, hedging, or trimming some profits IMO.
