Hyperinflation is kinda like permanent looting, in which
the process completes - the real economy dies, while financial
economy prospers.

A reset (I would call some kind of government default a reset)
usually involves a severe wipeout of the financial system as
well.

So, the jury is out there. What I am trying to say, they
probably don't want a reset. However, I agree with all your
points. For now "they" want to reinflate the asset bubbles,
so that assets again are valued above debt.
