NK's elite imposes totalitarianism on their population due to communist idealogy and their desire to hold onto power. Cuba was exposed to individualism, industrialism and mass consumerism and it hasn't "adapted" to community based values. It was the wealthiest latin american country and had poverty inflicted on it, again in the name of communist idealogy and the desire of the regime to hold onto power. Could you describe what is the difference between what you want for the US and what NK has achieved? Let me guess .... more weed and shrooms than NK allows.
