JJB,

Short interest is also reported at www.nasd.com

File shrt9709.txt lists the following:

Current short interest: 2,389,114

Last month: 3,469,657

Change : -1,080,543

File shrt9710.txt does not report SOLV

From the reporting dates it looks like the short interest changed when SOLV was not trading. SOLV halted trading at the end of July and I would think it would be reported in the August file. Haven't figured this out yet.

JJB: Look again! 76 hits on SOLV and just below it were another 73 hits on SOLVQ!!! #2 on the list! Trapped.

Dan: There are a great many questions we will have to get answers to over the coming months. This story is far from over.

JJB:

Didn't even think to look at that page before hand even though I did
look at it for NYSE....that also explains why CTAL is there since I
posted the link to it on that thread as well..guess that means that
twice as many people are following SOLV as CTAL...what a great way to
get an idea of how many people are reading the thread...or are visiting
the short link multiple times...

Yikes: you bet...just thought it was useful site.

Have a good weekend all.

Troy
