KT,

If I thought you were ignorant, I would have an entirely different opinion. But you aren't. That's why you can't be taken seriously and I have simply concluded you are another political hack scumbag with an agenda.

"Yes, what you call fiscal oppression, which many call the market".

Anyone with functioning brain and and even a modest education on economics and monetary policy knows that the Federal Reserve is not a FREE MARKET institution. It's an institution designed to SOCIALIZE the risk of free banking and give the Federal government the ability to print money to finance the WELFARE STATE and WARFARE STATE (transfer wealth by a means that the masses will not understand).

Virtually every bit of wealth transfer that has occurred in recent times has been the result of monetary policy designed to transfer that wealth, government actions designed to rescue private businesses that use government for their own benefit at our expense, and straight up irresponsible borrowing and promises by government.

None of that is free market activity.

A free market would have sound money, a balanced budget most years, very little debt, and downtown Manhattan would be littered with the corpses of former Goldman Sachs employees. Things might be tough for awhile because the Fed and Federal/State/City governments maneuvered us into this gigantic mess, but that's another issue.

You know that and everyone else with a functioning brain and eduction knows it.

Knighty, i don't consider telling someone who doesn't answer questions that they don't answer questions and "ad hominem" attack.

i can't say it now that you've answered a question (after ignoring quite a few, you must admit).

my point is that BOTH parties are against the american people - so trying to pin much of the evil on one party is right down my alley - of course the pubs are crooks.

but the ruling elite don't care which party is in charge because they use both parties to their advantage.

the empire is collapsing the republic - so i am a bit on edge.

the point still stands - the democrats didn't *really* push hard here. no obama speeches about caring for the little guy - b/c he doesn't care about the little guy like he cares about wall stree bankers, health insurance and big pharma.

the latter get speeches to transfer money from the poor and middle class into billionaire pockets.

but not money from the bankers to the starving.

why didn't obama use this opportunity to tax those making over $1,000,000 a year an extra 1% to cover the cost of feeding those unemployed?

unemployed people don't pay obama's bills. no speech for the little people, just the "savvy traders" (that used control fraud to blow up the world's economy).

better yet, we just spent $1 trillion plus on all sorts of crap - why didn't that money go to employ these people and make them productive?

nope, had to pay back special interests with those fat, juicy earmarks obama loves so much now that he's in office.
