John; political culture shift to constantly cut taxes. I agree. Problem is we can't even raise taxes where we should - like energy consumption - or dare i say even a VAT. I think we can even start now to tax oil consumption and pay most of it back so that the wise energy user wins and the slob driving a Hummer is penalized. So the person working close to home benefits and the person driving 4 hours a day to and from work must make a decision to live closer to work or be taxed more.
