Tom, I wish I had stopped my investment at 1k, but I thought for sure we were going to 35, not down to 21! I am resigned to the fact that we probably won't see much happening until next Q earnings, simply because the analysts don't have balls, and wont go against the charts(too risky), and too much controversy which will scare the individuals. On a side note, I was watching CNNfn at my Dad's yesterday, and they had James Oberweis on and he touted two stocks, Ciena and Lernout and Haspie(sp?). It would have been a perfect time to make a gutsy call and tout Cymee, but I guess he didn't want to take the chance.

Seems to be some short covering here, I would guess. Maybe that 21 1/8 was the infamous bottom? Did it trade lower than that?

remember too that since the rumors, everytime Cymi has been poised to make a come back, something from out of the blue has happened to squash it. i refer to

(1) the book-to-bill dip in semi front-end manufacturers
(2) Intel's disappointing earnings
(3) the big crash in Asia
(4) now, a mini crash

this stock has had he worst luck imagineable. i have to stay around now to see what all can happen ;-) (while hoping for the best.)

in the same boat as you.
i am long cymi 2000 at 26.5.
this whole debate between shorts and how they will get in a squeeze is interesting, but i am not sure when this will happen. this stock has stayed flat and even fallen further despite the market rebound to near pre "crash" level. now with the news from lsi and other semis and tech companies that they will reduce capital expenditures is not going to help cymer. i remain bullish however.
am very seriously considering a further buy at 21 or 20 if this stock continues to slide
would bring my average down to 23 or 24 and one upgrade will salvage this dead dog investment.

praying for a rebound
