But to me the key takeaway from the strikes in China is that more money will end up in the hands of the workers who will certainly save a good portion of it as is the norm in China, but also spend the rest. To keep the commodities game going we need as many Chinese and Indians as possible buying consumer goods, though I shudder to think of the environmental consequences.
