But is the gain from that worth, at an aggregate level--across all states, endangering a much further dip down in the economy. I don't think so.

We will have to differ on this John. The bloated wages of local governments is completely unsustainable. If we fail to deal with it now, things just continue to get worse and the pain is worse on down the road.

Do you look to loan money to governments or just give them money?
