Pumping large quantities of erosive mud into the well could even end up damaging the well further, hindering later efforts to seal it.>> This is the heart and core Matthew Simmons argument. i give Simmons at least a 50% chance he is right. i know enough about "blow-out" power to see Simmons point: that being BP and Government have LIED via silence, by NOT addressing this was as powerful a blow-out explosion you can get, and they just dodge that subject----Simmons says the force was so great the well bore had to have critical damage. The mocking of Simmons as being a Lunatic, is utterly ASSININE, he is simply stating a valid deduction from the massive power of this blow-out---and does so from decades of experience with wells, world wide, he is a walking encyclopedia of "Blow-out" history. i view the mocking of Simmons another sign of the DUMBIMG of America. i say he has a 50/50 chance of being right, as his argument has a SOLID RATIONAL basis---and those screaming vicious attacks on him are damned fools---i write this as i have been reading the VICIOUS MEAN CRUEL attacks on Simmons elsewhere and have realized they are the one's that are INSANE. What is ahead on this matter is a MAJOR CRITICAL and it is NO time to get into "It is in the bag, the relief well WILL absolutely succeed." , this is what i call massive tons of Diazepam Speak. Push Push Push that as certainty on to the puiblic means a failure will BLOW-UP in their faces, for sure.Max
