Thanks for that link. I saved it for future reference. It really is a very unusual plant, and seems to like where it is planted. For some reason, lilies do extremely well in that bed. I don't know why as all of the good top soil was scrapped off there when we built the house. For the most part it is clay, but over the years some soil has formed. All of the lilies in our yard are in that bed.
