Bush said he wanted and ownership society. And indeed, today most Americans are owned by banks.

It's not George W's fault if Americans didn't enquire into the actual details of who was going to own whom and what.

Why? We did this to OURSELVES. Ronald Reagan taught us that deficits didn't matter, and it was off to the races, in the public and private sectors.

Keep paying attention. Soon we'll elect the first clown with a magic bean, and make the situation much worse, if that's possible. How's anyone going to get elected saying that we're screwed, buckle down for a decade or more of horrible times?
