SB,

<Enjoy you visit. Don't want to live there>

I've seen what happens when you "live there". Not pretty. Lost my best friend from childhood to drugs. He is still alive, but "he" is not there anymore. The guy I knew is gone.

I did not enjoy the physical effects of mescaline. At the time I took it, this was attributed to the effects of strychnine, which is actually false as there is none in mescaline.

If I thought there was more to learn, I would have taken it again. I took it the first time and the experience left an indelible mark on the way I looked at the idea of "life". After about a year I had a chance to take it again with a large group of about 20 people. I did, played with a band that night, but I didn't gain anything more than I did the first time. So that second time was the last.

I played some great feedback that night. Well, I thought it was great <g>
