I think people make a large mistake when they push trade schools as substitutes for college. Virtually every person can get through college with a little hard work.

So I say, get your college first, and then you can take up any trade you want, carpenter, plumber, fisherman or subsistance.

The idea we need trade schools becasue some people are not considered college material is generally just nonsense. And puts a stigma on people that is not real and can be very destructive.

We are all insecure and we do not need people telling us we are not college material when that is almost always pure bunk.

Kids need their egos bolstered, not deflated.
