amarksp, NiMin Energy (NNN.TO) -- great to see this financing finally go through, I was beginning to wonder what was going on there. At this point things would have to go perfectly for them to meet their goal of getting 11 wells down by year end, but heck, even if they get just 8-9 done this should provide a significant ramp in production. It looks like they were waiting for this financing to close before committing to a rig, even though they had the money in hand from the recent equity raise to start drilling. Given the dymamic environment currently out there I can't blame them. The concern would have been, what happens if you start drilling and then the bottom falls out of oil prices and you can't close this loan, and you have $23 M of debt due by Christmas.

But all of that's now behind us, so now we can move on. Does Weisel put out their report now or do they wait for the announcement of inception of drilling? How long after Weisel does the next analyst initiate coverage? It should be an interesting summer for NiMin fans.
