Williams actually ran his system up over two million in that contest, if I recall correctly. Then he went on a business trip though Asia and left without Stops. I was told this by a friend of his, I have no personal knowledge of what happened exactly.

A better answer than I gave you last night, now that I had a good night's sleep and a moment to think it through is that the problem with contests like that is that you really can't test your model and win because there will be those who cram and double, triple, quadruple down, and so on, they let it all ride on every trade until they either blow out or win... that's no way to trade in real life, real time... the best way to test a model is exactly how I'm doing it here on this thread in real life, in real time, and by announcing where I will buy and sell ahead of the trade and in advance of the market itself... but, I'm not testing my model here, I already know it works, it has for many years, here I'm really just sharing it...<g> GZ
