Every measure.

None of the results promised were achieved.

Obama's 'stimulus' plan for one. Abject failure.

How do you know? By what measure?

This is the problem with this argument.

The Left are doggedly in favor of government spending, regardless of what it is for or the debt it creates or whether it is totally wasted or not.

The stimulus bill was a waste of $1 Trillion. We [taxpayers] received no meaningful value from the expenditure.

We don't even get to discuss with the Left the logic or ethics of spending a future generation's money in an effort to save us from the pain created by our own selfishness.

Paul Krugman may believe, in his heart, that a THREE TRILLION dollar stimulus would have worked. I suppose he does. But neither you nor he can make any moral justification for such a thing.
