I got a ticket last year in Mexico for not speeding. As I was getting the typical speel from the cop he asked for a propina which means tip. I got him down to 250 pesos. I said I was disgusted with Mexico to the other Mexicans in the jeep as I drove away. One replied, "he has to eat to." You should pray to God every night before you go to bed for fines, charges and liens because other people are hungry and have to eat to.
