Two Bear Markets Missed in Half a Decade

You have to chuckle that he calls his newsletter "Marketimer" when he has been 100% in equities for the last nine years without raising any cash for the "Great Recession" that was a bear market over 50%. He had another chance last year to raise cash before another bear market but he rode that one out too.

He should change the name of his newsletter to "Buy_And_Holder."

To his credit, the markets are not that far from their all time highs but how many stuck with him and his multiple "buy signals" as the market plunged between the top in 2007 and mid 2009 when he started to give buy signals again after stopping near the lows?

Ida M. Garzarelli, 93 Of Springfield Ida M. Garzarelli, 93, passed away on November 29, 2012 at Vitas Hospice at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in. She was known to her family and friends as "The Queen".
Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Garzarelli was a resident of Springfield for 61 years. She was a graduate of Banks Business College and being gifted, skipped four grades in school. She was a superb chef and was featured in the newspapers for her original holiday Italian recipes. Family: She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph J. Garzarelli, a banker, and beloved mother of Elaine Garzarelli and her late wonderful sons Robert and Richard.

She is also survived by her brother, Orlando Pierantozzi, and four nephews and a niece. Visitation: Relatives and friends are invited to Ida's Life Celebration, Saturday 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Holy Cross R.C. Church, Springfield Rd. & Bishop Ave., Springfield, PA 19064. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM Interment will follow at Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
