Hi,

I made a lot of money between 10/1998 and 5/2000.

I made nothing between 9/2001 and today. There were many and various reasons for the price action, but the prices moved in up and down cycles, netting nothing.

Now, you are saying the price action is the certainty and there will always be reasons. I think a decade is too short a time period to provide the data for "immutable" laws of stock price movements. In fact, I believe will will shortly see a time period in which there will be reasons for very different price action. That is the subject of my new thread.
