i don't own PMS yet, i think they will get creamed should deflation hit - and i fully expect the bankers to let deflation hit and hit freaking hard.

i'm a bit cash poor since i paid off the home and need enough cash to buy stuff for the home (cash, storable food, etc.)

i will probably buy PMs in time and it will be bullion that i store - the paper stuff can be easily stolen.

i will likely start buying silver, but i want a stock market short as a hedge - the idea being that the stocks i short will decline faster than the bullion i possess.

should the QE uber banker klepto button be hit again, my PMs should out perform the stocks.

right now i'm just glad i'm not a sitting duck for the kleptocracy that runs the show right now.

i keep my cash away from the banks in order to not sweat the coming bank closures.
