Hi thread, first, just want to say congratulations. All of you on this thread have been calling the implosion of the markets for awhile now. So now that it's happening, I hope you are profiting from it. second, just wanted to thank the thread. Even though we have a lot of political and BP posts here that don't add much, there are a lot of great financially oriented posts that keep us all informed on the ponzi scheme that is our economy. It's because of the info on these threads as well as my own reading that I went to 100% cash when the DOW was at 10,600 and then paid off my house this week. I'm able to sleep at night. I still have faith that we the people will take back our government and we'll get back to economic sanity eventually. Lot's of economic pain to come, before that happens, though! So let's take our own advice and be prepared to safeguard our assets. Anyway, great thread, folks. Enjoy your 4th of July weekend and remember what that holiday is about! No taxation (or outright theft) without representation. :)
