I've had both at different times. The DSL is a little cheaper.

I was trying to find a totally wireless solution using cell providers, but they were all either too expensive or incomprehensible.

The satellite internet offerings are WAY too expensive, but you could live like the UnaBomber and have high speed internet, if you wanted to pay the freight.
