I'm looking for the hidden pivot myself at HUI == 426.5 ... then I'm all (back) in ... I sold 3 stocks today. Of the 3 -- one is down another +5% -- two barely budged. It could be about over, but I'd like to see a divergence soon.

I think the euro thing is a run the shorts with leverage deal -- the thing is -- how good can they be at this -- suppose the euro doesn't stop at 1.26 or so -- but goes on up to 1.32 ...

Sometimes you light a fire and don't know how much gas was on it to start -- then it can be disastrous??

The SEC's Revolving Door

Forbes Magazine July 19, 2010

Sometimes it's hard to recall if someone is working for the Securities & Exchange Commission or certain law and accounting firms--such is the revolving door between the two sides. Now the SEC's internal watchdog is probing whether cross-pollination may have damaged the agency's ability to fight fraud in one case. Here are a few well-placed individuals who've gone for a spin.

Annette Nazareth
Attorney at Davis Polk & Wardwell law firm in early 1980s, later to the SEC as director for regulating markets and a commissioner--and now back at Davis Polk.

Linda Chatman Thomsen
Davis Polk lawyer until 1995, when she went on to various SEC posts, including director of Enforcement Division, and now back at Davis Polk.

Paul Roye
SEC staff attorney who went to Dechert law firm and then back to the SEC overseeing investment firms. Now an exec at investment firm Capital Research & Management.

Meredith Cross
Lawyer at King & Spalding law firm, then various SEC jobs involving regulation of corporate finance. Moved to WilmerHale law firm only to return to the SEC as head of corporate finance unit.

Thomas Biolsi
An examiner at the SEC who moved to compliance office at Prudential Insurance, then to PricewaterhouseCoopers, then to SEC (in compliance office) and now back at Pricewaterhouse.
