To: ManyMoose who wrote (371148 ) 7/1/2010 3:31:21 PM From: alanrs 11 Recommendations Read Replies (6) | Respond to All of them on this planet, but in the time period to which you are no doubt referring I worked my way through college (3.34 GPA, major Biology, minor Economics, took 5 1/2 years) where I also swam competitively, started (on a $500 loan) and ran a successful light manufacturing business (28 full time employees), worked as a head hunter (when the guy I sold the business to went bankrupt and didn't pay me), found myself a job with a screw company and worked my way up to master scheduler, moved to California and worked in production control in an electronics assembly plant where I moved up to manufacturing engineer (taught by some old Scottish guy who was way overqualified and bored with it-he just worked on the ponies and answered my questions when I had them) moved into project management for that stupid radar I had written the assembly instructions for and knew by heart all 20,000 pieces, every resistor and capacitor and whatnot.
