Part of it was stubbornness. Figured if I made it work with someone who had even worse problems than the one before I would be vindicated, or some such screwed up nonsense. Not a good reason to get married. Also figured what was the worst that could happen, somewhat short sighted on my part since some of it turned out really bad. I was moving a little too fast and didn't think about it much, to be honest. As long as it was interesting. Janet and I have been together 21 years now (I think, I'm not good with dates or names or what I had for lunch yesterday). We get along well although we never did make it official. Things are quieter now. ARS
