Without Bush, Nixon would be near the bottom. Because of Bush, he will end up above Raygun, altho that will still take a decade. Bush will be seen as the end of Raygunism unleashed, and drag Ronnie way down.

I didn't realize Nixon was in his second term. Aside from Watergate which is a big thing and his apparent paranoia, he did some good things.

Nixon ended the Vietnam war...

No, Nixon resigned on August 9, 1974 and the U.S. finally pulled out of Vietnam with the fall of Saigon on April 30, 1975. Obama's policy of continuing Bush's wars in Afghanistan and Iraq is the closest parallel to Nixon's continuation of Johnson's Vietnam war policy. And the economic consequences of deficit spending to finance these endless wars are also similar.
