Re:"BTW, where has that "rosy" Mr Tab been hiding recently"

Right here. As I said before, if AMD's stock price goes down it won't be because of AMD. BP, the issues in the EU, nervousness and impatience about growth in the US are the other forces moving AMD's stock price as well as Intel's. AMD just has more volatility and it should from a risk perspective relative to Intel and has fewer shares outstanding.

I will admit, it's funny how you and you're ilk say those who invest in AMD must hate Intel, yet you trumpet AMD's share price loss while you are living in a house that is burning. Amd is off by 30% since it's ytd high, while Intel is off 20%.

Yippe you win!

Over the course of the last 6 months AMD has vacillated between $7 and $9 almost like clockwork. A lot of money was made from the predictable volatility. Just open the paper or read the futures in the morning and you pretty much know how the day is going to go and easily profit from it. Setting limits between 7.5(buy) and 9(sell) makes it pretty easy.

BTW, I don't think being busy running a Fortune 500 company is hiding, especially when I have only invested a couple thousand shares in AMD. Sometimes you have to chose to make make your fortune in your own backyard. I decided not participate in this board discussion while there isn't really any new news, and while it is obvious there are many other forces at work that affect not only AMD's stock price but the whole market in general. No amount of design wins will move the stock price upward while the world is burning.

That being said, am I to assume you have little else to do with your life, besides posting on this board while Intel's stock erodes as well? Have there been no instances in the past 6 months where Intel has lead the sector downward? Also when you disappeared for several months after the settlement, can I assume you were "hiding" by your own standard.

Thanks for making my day. You really amuse me.

Enjoy the holiday for those who celebrate this weekend and for those who don't I wish you safe and warm time off.
