I finished a book on Korea the Forgotten WAR and it the Chinese Army that crossed the border and bought for the N. Chinese were of the same make up. They came in by the masses and were subsequently slaughtered the same way. Of course the U.S. lost 150.000 men and millions of civilians were killed... It's a film on Public TV if you can find it. At that time in 1952 I was at Indian Town Gap Military Reservation and working with repatriated soldiers and those going out.. It was a bad time for me. My insider view of how the Army functioned as I was an officer and had experience with everything. I take it you have read Wild Swans... ?
