Thread,
I would like some in depth analysis of implications on INTC's
recent analysts meeting.

Does this mean they are not sure about NetPC and don't mind
about selling their CPU to whoever wants them?

Does this mean Windows 98 is more or less dead?

Daniel, how can Java beat Windows98 out the door?

Windows98 is an OS. Java is a language. Not sure why people keep making this inappropriate comparison.

Java still needs an OS. And what OS is that? Anybody know yet?

Any such OS will be at a disadvantage, since it will be new and not yet fully fleshed-out.
